November 17, 2009 Board Meeting Agenda Item #26 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #0513 FOR ELEVATOR MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE Description Bids to provide 'Elevator Maintenance and Service' were received from five vendors on October 22, 2009. The bid of Schindler Elevator Corporation was the best low bid meeting the advertised specifications. This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The funds for these purchases are contained in the capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department. Recommendation That the bid of Schindler Elevator Corporation, to provide 'Elevator Maintenance and Service' in an amount not to exceed $60,000.00, be approved for award and purchase.
